Where is he?

He has no right to get our Realm dragged into you're war. We have enough of it trust me. His eyes were cast down now. He had seen every war the Dark Realm had had for the past 320 years. And he had had enough of it.

If he isn't careful the King will deal with him. It isn't our problem. And he really shouldn't treat the one the King told him to amuse like a burden. It's his penance for not coming before him. Eden was the one who made the rules in this kingdom. And no one, under any circumstances, was going to out right defy him.

Garulia leaned back and ignored the breastfeeding.

"If I won this war, I could die a happy man. I'm not in it for my own freedom," he told her sighing. "I'm in it for their freedom. My friends. I don't care if you love me or not. If you're with Lex you die too. Under no circumstances will I allow this world to crumble in order for you to live happily. Do you understand me? That child. I've come to like him over the past few days and I will do all in my power to keep him safe. Lex has destroyed us-not his child. You could always just not choose a side. I have people who will do whatever I ask-I could have an escort make sure you stay alive and have enough money."

Christy looked at him, "You don't get it do you?" she asked glaring at him, "I was on your side until you took my child from me. Do you honestly think I'm going to be neutral in everything now? Especially as you are talking about killing the father of my child?" her mind was beginning to spin. She hated how he felt if you aren't with me you're against me bullshit. It didn't make sense to her why he would act like that when she could have died for their cause. It wasn't a bad thing that she had Lex in her back pocket...but why couldn't he see that?

She continued to feed Rian, stopping after a while to burp him and then give him the other breast. She didn't care if Garulia or if anyone else were to see what she was doing, that was her child. "You realize you took my child's first smile away from me and you don't even care because its to get back at someone else...and me too because I just so happened to fall for the guy. You act like I've planned this all along. Much less the fact you said to find information at all costs."

"I didn't mean to fall for him. Falling for him was OPPOSITE of what I wanted. You were supposed to make HIM love YOU. Not the other way around," Garulia told her with a shrug. "And of course. I would have to kill him anyway, even if I had talked to you about the kid before running off with it. No way I'm going to let the bastard who ruined so many lives live! It's like Husein all over again! It doesn't matter if you were on my side-you were a liability because of your emotions. I didn't know, but I'm glad I took the kid. Now Lex cannot touch me unless he wants you dead. But the difference..."

He paused, wondering how much to say.

"I won't kill you or the kid."

Christy glared at him and then the faintest smirk appeared on her face, "You're right." she replied looking him in the eyes, "You wouldn't kill me. You wouldn't even be able to make a killing blow on me. Especially if my kid was involved. I made it this far still weak from having him and you still didn't kill me. And oh he's fallen for me." she added looking at him, "But being pregnant...which would never happen to you, changes a person's outlook on someone. Especially if they know what you are and are there the entire way through it. You had to have known I was pregnant long before Rian was actually born. Your first move would have been to strike then."

"I don't want to kill you. Believe me, it's not care for you. It's a moral standard, thank you very much," Garulia said, laying on the bed and looking at her. "To me, he killed my friends, my brethren...to you he fathered your kid. To the people he's saving them from an evil threat. Have you seen my people? Do you really think they are evil?"

Christy looked at him. "Everyone is evil to some extent." she replied looking at him, "I mean after all you have me tied down to a bed, have basically raped me and took my child from me...Don't you think thats pretty shitty and evil all in one?" she asked raising an eyebrow as she started to burp Rian again, covering herself back up. "To you? Believe me Garulia, there is more to it than just fathering my child. Of course if you had even attempted to talk to me while I was pregnant you would have known that."

"For one, it was payment. You agreed therefore it wasn't rape. And it doesn't matter! Why can't you understand that? If you hadn't left Lex right then I would have taken the kid either way! Why don't you get it?! 'Pickled toadstools don't change their spots,' as said in a Harry Potter book," Garulia said angrily.

Amir nodded at the boy. "I agree, he dosen't have any right to do what he is doing, any part of it!" She gave the closed door a disgusted look and sighed. "I hope your King does something about it." Her words dripped venom as she spoke about Gar. He had no right to treat Christy how he was. She could feel the tension in the next room. She let another sigh escape her and she cast her eyes down for a minute before looking at the boy again. "I don't think you should be treated as a burden either, what amusement did you have in mind?" She figured he would have soom idea of what he wanted to do, and she knew Gar wouldn't do anything, he was too wrapped up in his sick little game. She turned her head sideways and squinted at the boy. "What's your name anyways?"

Eden looked at Amir with amusement as she started in about Gar. He did however flinch as she talked about the 'King'. He knew he could interfeer with what ever was going on, but did he want to expose himself to these outsiders?

No, he would have to use his shadow puppet to do his dirty work for him for now.

My King would do much to you're leader, if you asked him. It's his realm after all. He spoke almost at a whisper.

As she talked about him not being a burden he grinned impishly. Well, I could all ways call out to the King to come back. That would amuse me greatly.

"I agreed under the terms that I would get my son back you sick fuck." she said looking at him, Rian falling asleep in her arms. "You could have at least made sure you got me ready first. It hurt so bad that you might as well have put a rusty razor laced dildo up there!" she glared at him, "Why did you have to take him?" she asked looking at him, "I damn near had Lex leaving the fucking outcasts alone and you had to fuck it up...was it to get to me, him, or both of us?"

Garulia sighed, puzzling over his motives.

"You have your son back," he told her, smiling inwardly at his loophole. "And it was initially to get at that bastard Lex. But he wouldn't have turned truly-he would have done it for you, and still seen the rest of us as monsters. So screw you Christy. Go jump off a bridge with clipped wings."

He turned and walked out abruptly, leaving her tied by her feet. He pointed to one of his men who had a shotgun over his shoulder.

"You. Go watch her and if she tries to leave shoot her. But save the kid."

Then he turned to the boy. "What would you like to do? I have to entertain you so I intend to do that job, though I may not be too good at it."

He didn't even look at Amir.

Amir grinned at Eden, her eyes lighting up. "I think that would amuse me as well. How does one go about contacting our Noble King?" Just then the door opened, and out stepped Gar. She frowned in his direction, but he never even aknowledged her. Amir made to pull the boy away, but she remembered him not wanting to be touched, so instead she just hovered nearby, her face an unemotional mask. "Don't act like it is such a chore, Gar. He is not one to talk down to. I can assure you that much." Her words were hissed and angry as she spoke.

"I'm not talking down to him," Garulia replied harshly, still not looking at her. "I am talking to him and telling him I'm not good and that he should give me a hand and tell me what he likes. So mind your own business. Got me?"

Christy spat at Gar as he walked out of the room. This was a form of torture..She knew Lex would send her half brother after her if she didn't return before too much longer. But on the brighter side, she had their son back with her, not in exactly in the way she had planned but she had him back. She took the knife she had behind her back and when the guard with the shotgun turned around she threw it and it hit square in the back, killing him instantly.

She then took the other knife she had behind her back and used it to cut herself free of the bonds that were holding her down. She ran out of the room quietly trying not to draw any attention towards her after she grabbed her knives and headed for the door.

Amir tried her best not to turn in the direction Christy was escaping. She fekt the life seeping out of the guard, and a smile flitted across her face. She turned to Gar, her expression dark again. "And I quote: "" I have to entertain you"" Does that not make it sound like a burden? I think so. And don;t you dare tell me what the fuck to do. You don't own me, in fact I might as well fucking leave this fucked up version of your fucked up dreams. You'll never beat Lex!"

With that she turned on her heel and walked away, heading in Christy's direction. She cuaght up to the girl fairly quickly and strode beside her. "What's the game plan?" Her eyes were cold and distant as she walked way from the two men.

Christy was already out of the house by then and heading back in the direction of the portal she found. "Well first to get to that damned portal and then back to Lex." she said as she held Rian to her chest protectively. "Let me guess did you come out to try and take me back?" she asked defensively already knowing the answer.

She carried on with her quick pace. It was probably faster than anyone had ever seen Christy move. She was half walking and half running and quickly enough she reached the portal, "You can come if you want as long as you aren't having anything to do with that idiot." She said as she stepped through the portal back into her own realm.

Amir snorted in disgust. "I have nothing to do with that fucking pig, I know what he did to you Christy. I don't want to be a part of his twsted schemes. I don't want to take you back there, Rian needs safety, and Gar will not provide it for him. I will make sure you get where you need to go safely." She kept up with Christy easily, using her mind to help Christy balance and not trip with Rian. They reached the portal and Amir motioned her through. "I might just stay back to make sure no one follows you, and give you a headstart."

Christy turned before stepping in the portal, "Thank you." she said as she turned back to walk through it. When she came into her own world she was back in the city and made her way back to the government building...taking something very important of Garulia's with her though she didn't know it yet.

Eden was surprised by Gar approaching him so casually. It wasn't normal, how this man could bind a woman, steal her child, and Shadow only knows what else.

You know, many a man has died before the king for stealing children. The boy said. When the man talked about entertaining him, he smiled like the Devils themselves.

Well, first you could show me how you got here. There are portals popping up every where now days, and I need to get His Majesty to close them. But travailing the country side is fun, so if you will, take me to the portal you used. He hoped that he could take this man's mind off the girls that had just left.

Garulia shouted and kicked the wall, quickly apologizing to Mike who waved it off.

"Uh well, I can um..."

He waved his arm, making a portal appeared. "Since we're on the second story, I don't suggest going through. We have to get out of here. Now. I need to entertain you somehow. I am going to appeal to the King of Light and then possibly your king. But I doubt he'll want to help us. I will do what I must, though, because now she knows where we are."

Turning back to Mike, he said "Mike. You have to come with us. You'll die if you don't."\

Mike nodded, solemn.

"Let me pack my bags."

Eden looked abashed. This boy could make portals at will, to both realms. That was not a good thing.

When he talked about the King, Eden refused to allow himself even the glimmer of amusement as he talked, I don't think he is really the, 'Going to War for another person's fight' kind of king. But if you get the King of Light on you're side, you might make a very powerful enemy. The King always talks about the balance of the worlds. Light, Dark, and the Realm in between. I'm taking it, that's you're realm?

But an adventure to another plane did sound fun. It might serve to amuse him for a few hours at least.

"Yes, that's my realm. But from what I'm told it used to be beautiful," Garulia replied savagely. "Now, those bastards who set off a friggin nuke, dying in the process, made the whole of the biggest country of our realm a barren wasteland and made us freaks. Then Lex, the enemies leader, looks at us as abominations that he has to personally execute for the crime of being born."

He sighed and trudged to the front of the house.

"If you want, you can come with us. I can send you back at any time, you have my word."

Eden smiled, his eyes lighting up. That would be interesting. Sure why the hell not. He tested out the word. It sounded foreign on his lips. Almost as if he had never used such language in his life. He was trying to accommodate the usage of there own vocabulary just in case he ever went to Earth.

Garulia sighed and walked outside, gesturing for the boy to follow.

"I didn't get your name," he said expectantly. "I'm Garulia, I don't remember if I told you or not. Technically in our world, most would consider your world hell. Now me, I like it. It's more my style. Too many people who loved everyone in the Light World."
