Where is he?

Amir stopped the blade in mid-air as it hurtled at Gar. "No violence around the baby huh?" She held him to her chest, his eyes open, but his expression calm. "He's fine, I assure you." Her mind was linked to his, and she kept him clam that way. She had created a channel with him, their minds linked, she didn't know if the connection would be permanent or not. "Let's negotiate here." She brought the blade closer to her, and it circled her slowly.

"Calm down." He stood the cold long enough to chain her to a bed post before turning back to Amir and holding his arms out. "Please, let me see Rian."

He smiled at her.

"Christy, I mean no harm to the child."

Christy spat at the both of them, "What the hell do either of you know about children?" this had been addressed more so to Gar, than to Amir, although had she not been holding Christy's son she would have probably tried to kill her. She didn't want to hurt her child and seeing her dagger circle Amir, too close to her son for comfort she felt her heart sink. "I just want my son back."

Amir looked up at Gar, sening the blade flying to land sticking up in the floorboards by his feet. Her expression was angry. "No. I will deal with Rian myself." She was almost as protective over him as his own mother. Amir stepped around him, daring him to touch her. She stepped over to Christy kneeling beside her. "He's fine Christy, I didn't let the dumbass put him on a horse either."

Garulia sighed and sat in a chair.

"Whatever," he said, annoyed. Why was everyone so damn difficult?! "Amir, come outside in a moment. We need to speak please."

He stepped onto the balcony and watched through the window.

Trumpits blared in the distance, and two sets of hoof beats could be heard approching the shack.

Two horses, two riders. The taller rider was a man made of pure living shadow, a black crown upon his head. His steed was made of the same type of flesh. The only color on either one of them was there eyes. The horse's eyes were ruby red, and the man's an icy blue.

Next to them rode a young boy. A servent from the looks of it. His cloths, though expensive, were in tatters and dirty, like he had been rolling around in the forests and dirt. His eyes were the same arctic blue of the Shadow being.

Who enters my Kingdom and does not pay homage to the King of the Darkworld? The voice came from the shadow thing. The man and boy pulled in there horses in front of the building, waiting for an answer.

The young boy stayed silent.

"A horse?!" she exclaimed, "A fucking horse! Are you out of your god damned mind?" At hearing his mother's voice Rian looked directly at her. She calmed down, "Just give him to me and I'll leave. We just want him back" He had gotten so big since his birth it was unreal. Christy started crying at all she had missed from Garulia taking him.

Garulia heard and ran back in.

"You bitch you can't have him back. Don't you understand? If I give him back we will all die! All of us! The whole army! However if the child stays here, he remains safe. And under Lex's new regime, you will both have to die if I say something to him."

Then the trumpets.

"Oh no."

He vaulted over the balcony and landed directly in front of the dark figure, bowing.

"Hello, your lordship," he began. "I am a leader of a rebel group from the world of Earth. We are staying here to escape our oppressors. I promise you, it is only temporary and we would gladly pay any price. We have a lot of money if you'd like."

Amir handed Rian over, standing to follow Gar. She ignored his outburst towards Christy, instead her mind latching onto a darker, more powerful prescence. She meandered outside, feeling the the being approach. She heard the sound of trumpets and she looked up as two riders approached. Gar leaped off the balcony, uneccessary in her opinion.

She looked up at the King, her eyes awed. He was quite the magnificent creature. "Sorry, our leader here is a dumbass. You'll have to forgive him." She gazed angrily at Gar, her mind still attatched to baby Rian, making sure he was safe.

The king looked at Gar and laughed. It's sound cold enough to chill even a fire elemental's soul.

I don't have need of you're money human. My treasurer rooms are full of things that humans covet, and will pay high price for. What I want to know, is why there are not one, or two, but multipule humans in my domain. At the very least, you should have thought to seek an audience with me.

Looking at the female speaking The 'King' spoke once more.

You are correct, but have no room to judge him. You did not do what he failed to. You did not seek me out at court. And there for are held just as punishable as he is. The king looked at the boy and nodded once. No sound had exited the boy's lips however.

The boy jumped off his horse, and stood there looking down.

You are to escort this boy and entertain him while you are here. That is you're punishment. A light sentence for visiting Humans. With that, the King and the horses vanished.

Christy remained tied down to the bed screaming trying to fight her way free. Whatever he had used to tie her down, she couldn't use her powers to turn them to ice and break them. "I fucking hate you Garulia!!!!" Her scream could be heard all the way outside the house. "Once I get Rian back safely I'm going to turn your fucking testicles to ice and smash them!"

Garulia turned to Amir, ignoring the jabs at his intelligence.

"Well..that was...eventful," he said, also ignoring Christy's shouts. He put an arm around the boys shoulder. "I'm Garulia, it's nice to meet you! We don't have much but with that girl up there-" he pointed at the window with Christy "-we're sure to have a good laugh! And when you see the king, apologize for me if you could. I didn't mean to be rude to him. If I had known I was supposed to I would have."

Amir glared at Gar. "Oh don't you go corrupting the boys mind with your little jokes Gar. There is nothing funny about what you are doing to her, or to Rian." With that she turned to the boy. "If I catch you messing with that woman, or the baby, I'll kill you." Her gaze burned hotly on Gar once more before she turned and headed back in the house. She entered the room with Christy, Rian laying in his carrier on the table. She went and picked him up, cradling him to her chest. "Okay Christy, I know you are upset, but I won't let him get hurt. He and I are connected, I feel what he feels." She brought him over to her, so she could see him, and tell that he was alright.

Christy glared at Amir, "So its the right fucking thing to take him away from me and his father?" she asked staring daggers at Amir. "I'm not even allowed to hold my own fucking son," she said continuing. Rian could recognize his mother's voice and could feel her getting upset and started to wail at the top of his lungs. "You are just as sick as Gar. You're torturing me just for your own amusement!"

Garulia walked up the stairs and walked in as she said he was sick.

"Amir, could you leave us? And take Rian with you?" he asked her quietly. "I wish to speak with her. Please? You don't have to but..."

Amir frowned. "I didn't take him, Gar did! I would have not allowed it if I knew, I would have stopped him! I don't think it's right! I would free you now and give him back, but that would be foolish. He would just find you and make it worse! I would probably be huinted and killed as well, and tha tis not something I want to happen!" Her voice grew quiet again. "I;m not trying to torture you." As she spoke those last words, she shut her mouth as she felt Gar approach. She stepped away from Christy as he entered the room. Amir merely nodded at him and left with Rian, she would fill herself in later on what happened between the two.

Christy glared at Gar as Amir walked out of the room. She waited until she was gone and spat into his face, "I hate you!" she said still fighting the binds that held her. "How could you do this to me?"

The boy followed up the stairs, and stared at the girl strapped down to the bed.

Let her go. His words were light, almost a whisper. No one should be treated like this. Not in his Realm.

If you have no reason to keep her that will suite the King's reasoning, then you have no right to torture her in his realm. His arctic blue eyes focused on the two humans standing. One holding a child.

And please do tell me why there is a child watching this? His eyes caught the light coming through the door, there luminescence making them glow like blue fire.

"Well, me and my friends will die," Garulia told him shrugging. "We can't let her go. She will rat us out to the enemy. Please, leave us. We have to discuss something."

Slowly but confidently, he was trying to deduce who this kid was...

Amir paused as the boy walked in, her eyes studying him. She looked at Gar, anger in her eyes, and she turned to the boy. "I was just leaving, and so are you." She walked over to him and took his arm gently with a free hand as she cradled Rian in the other. She spoke to him, her voice a whisper as she lead him out. "I'll explain everything, just wait till we are out of the room."

Christy screamed bloody murder as Amir moved to take her child out of the room. "Leave my son here Amir." she said as ice started to form by the woman's feet. She didn't want her to go anywhere with her son, more so now that she was so much closer to him than anyone had gotten since he had been kidnapped. She had been through hell trying to find him and no matter what she wasn't going to let him go out of her sight.

Eden allowed himself to be led out of the room, anger showing in his eyes.

Please let go of me. His voice was kind and soft, but the look in his eyes was anything but.

I am not just some child. I am at court every day, unless I need a change of pace. He stopped once they got out of ear shot of the other two, his eyes darting back and forth to the door. He did not like what was going on in his Realm. Not even his own people were allowed to kidnap women and children.

The last case had been brought before him, and he had killed the accused on the spot.

Garulia nodded to Amir and gently took the child and unfastened Christy's hand bonds.

"You know you will die if you attempt to harm me," he said placing the child in her arms. "Please, allow me to discuss this with you. I'll admit I should have asked you before I took the kid but...I'm sorry. I really am. Rian is safe, and so are you. I am going to kill Lex as soon as I can and either you can go down with him or you can come back to us. You realize that I do not wish you harm and I would like you back on the good guy's side."

Amir reluctantly released Rian to Gar. Not that she didn't want him to go to his mom, no, she didn't want him with Gar. After she had exited with the boy, she released her hold on him. "I apologize, I didn't mean to offend you in any way." She paused and sighed. "Okay, let me try and explain this as best I can. Gar kidnapped that girls kid from her just barely a day after he was born. He then evacuated our hideout in the other world, I managed to take the kid from him, because he doesn't know how to effectivly care for one." She took a breath and plowed on. "Now, he is keeping Christy hostage along with her kid, to get back at the government leader on our world." She looked at him carefully, noting his eyes constantly reflected danger. She hadn't tried to pry into her mind, she was afraid of what she would find there. "I want to let you know that I do not approve of any of this, and I am trying to find a way to at least get the baby to safety..." She trailed off and looked away from him.

Christy remained tied to the bed but in a sitting postion as she took Rian immediately from Garulia. She pulled the blanket off of him to check and actually make sure he was completely unharmed. She started crying with relief that he was back in her arms again. She covered the baby's face with kisses until she heard Gar mention killing Lex.

"No!" she exclaimed as tears actually started to form in her eyes. "I'll make sure you end up a frozen pile of blood if you even attempt it." she threatened knowing he would probably only laugh at her. Rian started to get upset and cried a little until Christy took a deep breath and began to sshhh him back calm. She had missed all their bonding time and never gave up hope to feed him herself again and hearing the cry could tell he was also hungry. She lifted her shirt not even caring that Garulia was there and began to feed him. Thank god for breast pumps. she thought as he immediately latched on to her.

"I was always on your side Gar." she said looking at him, "Until you did this to me anyways...I was working on changing it all. You can't put me in a situation like that and not expect something like this and then punish me and my child for it...You know at one point...and still now...probably deep down I still love you at least somewhat."
