Back-story: Raven was a child wrought from an experimentation between two seemingly intelligent people who just happened to be a scientists and a couple... they tweaked his DNA to give him above human abilities and to their chagrine gave him the ability to manipulate the time around him such that he can pause the temporal rift while he still moves. He escaped from their confinement while accidentally destroying it in the process. His parents are presumed dead and he is an orphan on the run with nowhere to go and little inclination to trust anyone. He's just out to have a good time and make up for eighteen years of his parents insistent testing and abominable regulations... after all he's just a bird trying out his wings now that he has come into his powers...
Other Information: his powers will grow over time giving him ability to resist disease to the point of slowing aging, increase his stamina = decreased vulnerability and increased strength and speed; and he will eventually be able to allow others to move with him when time is frozen, as well as change the rift of time itself-- these will be advanced and only learned over time and with training!
